Audiobook Sales up 60%!!! "Digital audio sales also made a big impact in adult fiction and nonfiction, jumping 61.8% and 58.3%, respectively, in July. The format represented about 20% of adult fiction sales in July and 18% of nonfiction sales." This excerpt from today's Publisher's Weekly article titled: Digital Audio Drives Big July Publishing Sales Gains has me, and all of us in audiobooks smiling ear to ear. and further in the article it says that audio is now 20% of adult fiction. This is wonderful news. Not that long ago we thought of audio as being 10% of publisher's revenues. Now it's 20. Amazing.
