Last week, Publix Super Markets employees from stores across the region—including some who traveled from as far as Virginia—came together to help us get our facility ready for the new school year. From organizing materials to cleaning up the space, their hard work will help our students have the best possible experience while on-site. One volunteer, Elena (pictured below), shared her unique connection to Junior Achievement. Having previously volunteered with JA in Honduras, she spoke about how meaningful it is to support students, no matter where they are. We also heard some incredible stories from the Publix team. Several volunteers shared how they began their careers as baggers or stockers and worked their way up to management roles. Their journeys are a perfect example of what hard work and dedication can lead to—and what we aim to teach our students! Thank you to the entire Publix team for your time and commitment to making a difference! 💪 #JABizTown #JAInspire #JAFinancePark #PublixVolunteers #JuniorAchievement #CommunitySupport #VolunteersMakingADifference
