I am thrilled that my team and I secured 2nd place in the SIP Brain Health Innovation Olympics, Fall 2024, hosted by the IXL Center - Center for Innovation, Excellence and Leadership! 🎉 This incredible journey has been life-changing, pushing me to grow personally and professionally while tackling one of the most pressing challenges of our time: brain health. Our concept, Intergenerational Harmony, focuses on bridging the gap between generations through music and fine arts to enhance neuroplasticity and foster meaningful social connections for seniors. Working on this challenge not only deepened my understanding of innovation but also reinforced my passion for creating solutions that truly make a difference. This achievement would not have been possible without my incredible teammates: Tino Mavunga CSM®, Vikram Vinod, Jesus Gonzalez, @Jason Wang, and Tawonga Matavire. Your creativity, dedication, and teamwork inspired me every step of the way. I am immensely grateful to Sarah Hoit, Co-Founder and Chairman of SIP, for her vision and leadership, and to Social Impact Partners (SIP) for hosting this transformative challenge. The opportunity to contribute to SIP’s mission has been a humbling and inspiring experience. A special thank you to the IXL Center - Center for Innovation, Excellence and Leadership team, including Hitendra Patel, Johan De Silva, and Viola Xhafa, for organizing this impactful challenge and providing us with the tools, mentorship, and platform to shine. Your dedication to fostering innovation is truly remarkable. I am also grateful to the panel of judges, with whom we had expert interviews: Bruce Lipnick, Amy Kruse, Dr. Rebecca Jackson, Dr. Leigh Richardson, and Dr. Mitch Elkind, whose insights and feedback strengthened our work. A heartfelt thank you to my professors, Euvin Naidoo and Richard Ettenson PhD, whose mentorship has shaped my ability to tackle challenges with confidence and purpose. Your guidance has been invaluable, and I am truly grateful. This challenge has taught me the power of collaboration, the importance of innovative thinking, and the profound impact we can have when we come together to solve global challenges. To anyone passionate about innovation, brain health, or intergenerational impact, let’s connect and explore how we can create meaningful change, together. 🌍✨ I am proud to announce that, as a result of participating in this program, I am now a GIMI Level 1 certified Innovation Manager, a credential that marks the beginning of an exciting journey in the world of innovation. #InnovationOlympics #BrainHealth #IntergenerationalHarmony #SocialImpact #Teamwork #Gratitude #GIMICertification #ThunderbirdSchoolOfGlobalManagement #ASU #GlobalManagement
