Since the first Ivybrook Academy preschool opened in 2007, our brand has expanded across the nation and has made an impact on countless families and communities. At Ivybrook Academy, our classes are half days so that students can have a fulfilling academic experience while still having plenty of time each day for extracurricular activities and family time. Our half-day curriculum allows students to socialize with their peers and develop a love for learning while adjusting to a school environment. 🌿 Meet Ms. Abi, a teacher at our Winston-Salem campus. 🌿 Ms. Abi began her journey with Ivybrook Academy as a parent. She loved the school and its values so much that she decided to become a teacher! She grew up in the Midwest, attended college in Indiana where she studied Education, and moved to North Carolina after graduation. Ms. Abi has known since 2nd grade that she wanted to teach and work with children. Abi is passionate about helping kids express themselves creatively, advocate for themselves, and learn to work together. Her favorite part of teaching is when students get excited about a lesson and make it their own.

🌿 Meet Kat Bell, VP of Education and Training for Ivybrook campuses. Kat has been with Ivybrook for 16 years! She has a dynamic and multifaceted role that combines educational expertise with extensive brand knowledge to ensure the success and growth of school locations within Ivybrook’s proven organizational framework. One of her many roles is to support new school owners with onboarding and understanding the unique Ivybrook model, processes, and educational philosophy. She provides guidance on curriculum training and best practices for implementation, as well as working with school owners to ensure that the brand excellence is upheld. 🌿 Why Ivybrook? “It's hard to put into words how special Ivybrook, specifically the people behind the name, are to me and how impactful they have been on my life.
