  • We had a fantastic start to our Leadership & Professional Development Series with our good friend Ed Snyder! Ed is an incredible and empowering speaker who truly left the room “SHOOKETH,” as they say these days. 🤯 Our series, "Control The Beast," is all about mastering your emotions, and Ed kicked things off with a compelling session on "The Power of Understanding and How The Beast Works." Through realistic examples and thought-provoking perspectives, he provided the audience with powerful takeaways on how to recognize and manage emotional challenges both in their personal lives and at work. If you missed this first session, don’t worry! The next topic in our series is "Don't Play Games With The Beast." With lunch generously sponsored by Original ChopShop, this event is sure to be another insightful experience. Spaces are limited, so make sure to register today. Trust me, this is one you DO NOT want to miss! 🧠🗣️ register: https://lnkd.in/diJUX-HY

  • Our Legislative Breakfast was an incredible success, filled with invaluable insights. We extend our sincere thanks to Giovanni Catanzaro and Michael Flusche, representing Senator Ted Cruz; Brian Flores, representing Senator John Cornyn; Irving Councilman Dennis Webb; and Texas House Representative Terry Meza for their participation. Your engagement with our members and the broader community was instrumental in shedding light on the legislative decisions currently in the making, those recently passed, and those that have been declined—all of which have a direct impact on our small businesses. Events like these are crucial for staying informed about the policies that affect our community, and we are grateful for the opportunity to facilitate this important dialogue. It’s not just about understanding what’s happening in our government, but also about creating a platform where our voices can be heard, and our needs addressed. If you couldn’t attend this year, we invite you to join us next year. Don’t miss the chance to stay informed, connect with key lawmakers, and advocate for the needs of small businesses and the community. Together, we can continue to build a strong, informed, and thriving business community. 🇺🇸💪 #legislativebreakfast #smallbusinesses #irvinghispanicchamber
