In Gaza, International Medical Corps provides a safe and nurturing space for children suffering the effects of the conflict. Through our child-friendly centers, we support 60-80 children daily, helping them regain a sense of safety and joy. These programs offer play and creative activities, which help children build resilience and express their emotions in a healthy way. We’re also extending our support to families, helping parents understand their children’s needs during times of trauma. At this year’s First Responders Summit, speakers Hanne LeCount, Dave Hartman, Becky Muhs Kent, Terry McCarthy, Claudine Zukowski and Carine Mathurin gathered with our field staff and a group of business leaders to talk about how businesses and humanitarian organizations can most effectively work together to deliver support to communities in crisis. Our corporate partners help make our work possible, and we’re so grateful for their genuine commitment to making a difference! #HumanitarianInitiatives #Innovation #Partnerships #SustainableImpact

Our team of doctors and midwives at the Azraq refugee camp in #Jordan recently delivered the camp's 10,000th baby, a little girl named Hala. "I have had all of my five children at International Medical Corps' hospital—I am very happy with its services," says Hala's mother Kafiah, who arrived at the camp in 2015. In the camp, our teams provide 24/7 healthcare services to 42,000 Syrians. From emergency obstetric care to pediatric services, we’re there in times of need.
