Our #polio vaccination campaign in #Gaza continues. Vaccination is key to stopping the spread of polio, which was detected in Gaza in August for the first time in 25 years. ““There is no health infrastructure left in Gaza. There are no preventive activities,” said Javed Ali, the emergency team lead for International Medical Corps in Gaza. The enclave’s children have been suffering from a massive outbreak of hepatitis A as well as an epidemic of skin diseases, and a polio outbreak was “bound to happen,” he said.” (Article paywalled) https://lnkd.in/dgQ-VzUx

What is a dignity kit? In times of crisis, women and girls often struggle to meet essential needs. Dignity kits are a lifeline for survivors, providing not just essentials but a sense of security and dignity during a crisis. The kits can be tailored for different variables, for example age group or season. We believe in the right to dignity for all people, including women and girls experiencing conflict and crisis.
