We recently celebrated the retirement of our Controller, Jeff Wahlgren, after 25 years of service. Con Mahoney, the original owner of Intermech’s Mountain West division, formerly known as Atlas Mechanical, was also in attendance. 1st Picture (Left to Right): Jeff Wahlgren, Melvin Cromwell   2nd Picture (Left to Right, Front to Back): Con Mahoney, Jim Hutcherson, Mark Malloy, Janice Wahlgren, Melvin Cromwell, Jeff Wahlgren #EMCOR #Congratulations

We served as the prime contractor during a chiller system replacement project for multiple municipal buildings in Pullman, WA. We provided three new chillers and all the piping and equipment to update their system and also coordinated subs to do electrical, controls, and insulation. We replaced two 45-ton units at the old city hall (which now serves as district court and detective offices) and one 18-ton unit at the police department. The old units were placed on a flatbed truck to be taken for recycling, and then we flew up the new units and set them on framing that our team built and installed. The crane activity for the project was all completed in a single day. We designed and submitted the rigging plan to the city and performed all of the rigging and crane signaling for the job, working with Rhodes Crane & Rigging Inc. out of Spokane. The project was a huge success. Thank you to our our team for their hard work on a job well done! #EMCOR #HVAC #Chiller #Crane #Rigging
