Thrilled to announce the successful loading of the Jack-Up "HEA LEVIATHAN" onto MV Zhong Ren 121. This giant, weighing 7,149 tons and stretching 83 meters long, embarked from Rotterdam, heading to Port Hawkesbury, Canada. Our team's expertise was showcased through innovative techniques: catchers were installed for precise alignment using the vessel’s 10-meter-high guideposts; the vessel's strategic stowage resulted in a lateral overhang of 32.3 meters at starboard to minimize cribbing height. The Jack-Up's legs were fully retracted to treat the cargo as flat-bottomed, enhancing stability. For the float-on operation, the vessel was carefully ballasted to submerge to an 18.77-meter draft, allowing 7.7 meters of water clearance over the cribbings. Shiplifting in action! The HLV Jumbo Jubilee has been busy lifting ships that have travelled from Shanghai, China, all the way to Waalhaven in Rotterdam. Here, the expert crew is skillfully lifting a variety of vessels—hulls, coasters, barges — from a pontoon into the water in the Port of Rotterdam. In recent weeks, the JSI Alliance team has been meticulously planning these precision lifts with our partners to guarantee a smooth and reliable operation. These ships were all crafted by Concordia Damen Shipbuilding for Holland Shipyards Group, Wasa Dredging, and Damen Gorinchem. She's now in Houston, ready to load for her next journey to South America. We are thrilled to welcome the MV Industrial Ursula to the Intermarine family, marking a significant milestone as the 40th vessel owned by the SAL Heavy Lift-Intermarine Group! With the addition of chartered ships and the Jumbo Maritime fleet, the JSI Alliance now boasts 66 vessels ready to serve our clients. The MV Industrial Ursula, an eco-optimized F300-type MPP vessel built in 2008, has an overall capacity of 12,780 t. She is equipped with a robust MAK main engine, three cargo holds, and two reliable 150 t NMF cranes, combinable to 300 t. Great Lakes-fitted and in top condition, the Ursula is prepared for exceptional performance.
