Wednesday night was “out of this world”! We had an amazing time being part of IIDA Mid Atlantic Chapter Cosmo Couture 2024, where we got to celebrate the 13th biennial showcase of creativity and innovation. 🚨 Call to Action 🚨 By now everyone has seen the unprecedented destruction caused by Hurricane Helene. Thankfully, members of our Charlotte team came out with minimal impact! However, we have a consultant in Asheville, Warren Sugg, PE, LEED AP, CFM with Civil Design Concepts, PA, that when asked if he knew anyone in his immediate sphere that needed anything, quickly pointed us in a direction. His daughter’s teacher and her family lost everything after a damn upstream from their house broke, taking out the 2-car garage (and everything inside it), and inundated their house with 5’ of water and mud that ultimately took out the foundation, leaving the house condemned. The family of 4 thankfully made it out safely (with all their pets!) but the devastating reality is, without flood insurance, they have no means to cover the loss of their home and all their belongings. So, in honor of INTEC Group’s 40th anniversary, our ask today is for your support in donating $40 via the GoFundMe campaign that’s been established to help this heartbroken family begin the rebuilding process (although any amount is appreciated, and no amount is too small!).
