With Halloween right around the corner 🎃, today we published our 5th annual Halloween data report filled with "sweet" insights gleaned from Halloween purchases made via Instacart and from a survey we commissioned via The Harris Poll. This year's findings include the top 10 Halloween candies, state-by-state candy purchasing trends, and other bewitching insights. For the second year in a row, we launched a Halloween microsite that showcases the top 10 zip codes for trick-or-treating based on our proprietary Scare Score — a metric that measures Halloween spirit in every zip code based on Halloween candy, costume, and decor purchases via Instacart.
