As we observe National Overdose Awareness Day, we reflect on the lives lost and the ongoing battle against the overdose epidemic. This day serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of education, prevention, and support for those affected by addiction. Insight Recovery Centers is also excited to announce the kickoff of Recovery Month, a time to celebrate the journey of recovery and raise awareness about the resources available to those in need. Recovery is possible, and together, we can create a supportive community that fosters healing and growth. In line with these efforts, Insight is offering free naloxone training to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to respond to opioid overdoses. Naloxone is a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an overdose. Training loved ones and by-standers is crucial in ensuring its effective use.
