InnoVenture Labs Alumni @NthCycle began operations to “produce premium nickel-cobalt mixed hydroxide precipitate (MHP), which is an essential component in a number of clean-energy, consumer and military applications.” The plant can process 3,400 tons of scrap materials to produce 992 tons of MHP per year. Tonight, I had the incredible opportunity to meet one of my heroes, Dr. Rita Colwell at a gathering hosted by the North Shore Technology Council and InnoVenture Labs in Beverly, MA. As the first woman to lead the National Science Foundation, she is a true trailblazer.The evening wrapped up with her powerful reminders: "Never give up!" and "Find your posse." These words have reignited my passion to mentor and support young scientists.
