We recently spent time with George Ndirangu in Kakuma, where we had the opportunity to explore the thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. During our visit, we met Mesfin, a local business owner whose enterprise employs 51 people from both the refugee and host communities. These jobs bring not only income but also stability, dignity, and hope for a brighter future. To hear more inspiring stories like Mesfin’s, check out the full series here shorturl.at/sVXtQ #InkomokoSeries #InspiringEntrepreneurs

We’ve wrapped up two insightful days at the 2024 Kenya Evidence Platform Annual Conference, where together with other colleagues Makena Mworia, Angela Bwengi we’ve explored critical research concerns impacting Forcibly Displaced communities. Through dynamic discussions and knowledge sharing, we’ve gained actionable insights to strengthen our direct influence on refugee-focused policy and practice. As we continue to serve displaced entrepreneurs, this experience reinforces INKOMOKO ‘s continued commitment to evidence-based approaches that drive meaningful change for refugee livelihoods. #Inkomoko Kenya Impact #EvidenceToPolicy #ForciblyDisplaced #RefugeeEntrepreneurs #KenyaConference2024
