IADC Advanced Rig Technology ADC’s Managing Director, Austin Hay and Business Development Manager, Jason McGill attended the International Association of Drilling Contractors ART Conference in Austin Texas last week. Among the 2 days of technology-driven discussions, keynote presentations and panel sessions was an overview of the collaboration between Seadrill and ADC to use machine learning and advanced data analytics to better manage the remaining useable life of BOP annulars. The presentation was concisely delivered within the allotted 5 minutes by Seadrill’s Johnathan Dady. Special mention also goes to the talented artist from Ink Factory Studio for creatively capturing the key messages and themes over the 2 days and for highlighting ADC’s ethos of making the industry SAFER, CLEANER and MORE EFFICIENT.
