Our annual Forklift Rodeo 🤠 had a record-breaking participation of female contestants. 25% of the participants were female, showcasing their skills and talent in the competition. Special congratulations to Kaylee, who emerged as one of the top winners in the rodeo. Her achievement is a testament to the growing presence and success of women in traditionally male-dominated fields.

Last week our Distribution Center held its annual Forklift Rodeo! 🤠 This friendly competition showcases the skills of participating forklift drivers and lends some healthy competition between departments! We've experienced a week of introspection and accomplishment here at Ingles Markets. After an impressive 38 years of dedicated service, Gail, our esteemed Payroll Administrator, has made the decision to enter retirement. Alongside Gail, Arthur, our reliable Shuttle Driver, has also chosen to embark on the next chapter of his life after faithfully serving for 12 years. Their departure leaves a noticeable void within our organization, as both Gail and Arthur have been integral members of our team. We are filled with mixed emotions as we bid them farewell, grateful for their hard work and commitment over the years. We wish them nothing but the best as they transition into a well-deserved retirement filled with relaxation and new adventures. Their contributions will always be remembered fondly, and their presence will be greatly missed within our workplace.
