We had the honor of sponsoring and participating in the FEAT - Families for Effective Autism Treatment of Louisville 5k Annual Run for Autism. This is a cause that is very close to our hearts and we are proud to contribute to FEAT of Louisville to continue to support effective autism treatment for families. Everyone had such a good time at the event and special thanks to Kaitie Clark for leading this effort! It was great seeing several of our clients also supporting this great organization. Today, we commemorate the end of slavery in the United States. President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863, however, the new law was not widely enforced in Texas. Two and a half years later, on June 19, 1865, Union Army General Gordon Granger and his federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas. He told the enslaved people of the confederate state that they were now free. He also shared the news that the Civil War was over. As a result, slavery in the United States was to end. Remember to start stretching because #teamingenium is running the 5K for FEAT of Louisville this Saturday, June 8th at The Parklands of Floyds Fork to support individuals and families affected by autism. At Ingenium, we encounter many diverse people looking to advance their careers. Educating ourselves helps us understand how people experience the world differently. Embracing new perspectives and ways of thinking is essential. If you've been following us for a while, you know that a growth mindset is a cornerstone of Ingenium's core values. A special acknowledgment to Kaitie Clark and Michael Bodner, CSC for spearheading this sponsorship and rallying the team around this important cause. If you can't make it to this event, please consider donating to support local autism programs at https://feat5k.com/ In addition to the 5K, Ingenium is working to become a certified Autism Friendly Business by the end of summer to further our pledge to inclusivity and diversity. #FEAT5K #FeatofLouisville #teamingenium #growthmindset

In our fast-paced, always-on world, the idea of taking a break can sometimes feel counterintuitive. Rest is an essential component of a productive and fulfilling professional life. Why Rest Matters: Mental Clarity: Regular breaks and sufficient sleep enhance cognitive function and decision-making abilities. Creativity Boost: Resting allows our minds to wander and innovate, sparking creative solutions to complex problems. Stress Reduction: Relaxation techniques like mindfulness and meditation reduce stress, promoting better mental health and resilience. Physical Health: Adequate rest supports our immune system and overall well-being, reducing the risk of burnout. Tips for Integrating Rest: Schedule Downtime: Treat your rest periods with the same importance as meetings or deadlines. Disconnect Regularly: Unplug from digital devices to give your brain a true break. Mindful Moments: Incorporate short mindfulness practices throughout your day to reset and recharge. Quality Sleep: Prioritize a consistent sleep routine to ensure your body and mind get the rest they need. Remember, productivity is not about working longer hours; it's about working smarter. Ingenium has a generous vacation policy for our employees so they can take advantage of as much downtime as they need. As we move into Summer, we encourage our team to practice self-care and to prioritize rest when they need it.
