The Noisy Waters mural festival is back for 2024, bringing world-renowned muralists to Bellingham for a weekend of mural painting, demos, music, parties, education and inspiration. Last year more than 4,000+ attendees joined the festival for a friendly art battle, in which muralists had three days to paint 8’x’8’ portable walls on public display for the community to enjoy and the game is afoot again this year! Attendees at the festival can vote for their favorites and the top three winners will receive contracts to paint large murals in Bellingham. Industrial is proud to be part of community enriching projects like Noisy Waters, and we hope you'll join us for this year's festival August 16-18th https://lnkd.in/gvZsyHdV

If you've been down State street in Bellingham lately, you'll notice that our branch has a gorgeous new look courtesy of www.driftmurals.com Last year Industrial sponsored the grand prize wall in the Noisy Waters mural festival. Noisy Waters, a project from local powerhouse community-builders Paper Whale, brings together artists, vendors and visitors at the Bellingham waterfront for a weekend of live painting, pop up events, music, and fun activities. In the months since the festival, the winning artists have returned to Bellingham, bringing several jaw-dropping murals to life and adding to the unique vibrancy of our not-so-subdued city. While Industrial often gives back to Whatcom County through donations, sponsorships and volunteer work, in this instance, we were thrilled to share the gift of place-making artwork with the community we love! It has been a pleasure working with the outstanding duo at Drift Mural Co. and the creative minds at Paper Whale. We are beyond excited for another great year of Noisy Waters and hope you'll join in the celebration August 16-18th! https://lnkd.in/gvZsyHdV
