It’s time for outdoor patio season in Downtown Indy! ⛱️☀️🍻 While the weather was not on our side this morning, it was great to join our city’s civic and hospitality leaders with the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites, Indiana Restaurant & Lodging Association, and Los Arroyos to officially kickoff outdoor patio season in Downtown Indianapolis. Downtown’s hospitality industry has gone through a period of renewed vibrancy with the opening of more than 50 new businesses in the last 12 months. It’s official! SPARK on the Circle returns June 1 with public seating, turf, and food + drink as well as free weekly programming including live music, arts and cultural activations, and games. New this year, SPARK will move to the northwest quadrant, offer expanded programming and hours, and remain open – in a smaller footprint – throughout the holiday season. Less than 2 months until Indy hosts the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Swimming, June 15-23! 🥇🥈🥉 Great to hear from leadership from OneAmerica Financial and Indiana Sports Corp on the 9-day celebration during another Downtown Indy, Inc. Coffee Chat. For the first time ever, this event will be held inside an NFL venue, as the 50-meter competition pool and two warm-up pools will replace the turf at Lucas Oil Stadium.
