As we prepare to celebrate 45 years of meaningful service, we must first take a moment to reflect on the pioneers who fostered the idea of developing an organization in the state of Georgia for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families. A few of those parents like Ginny Riley, Marian David, Kay Briggs, Eleanor Workman, Becky Willingham, and Mary Springer, to name a few, opened two residential homes in Alpharetta, that we continue to operate today.
