Last week, our team had the pleasure of attending the 2023 Textile Exchange Conference in London. The event emphasized the apparel and home textiles industry's role in addressing climate change and helping to meet the IPCC's goal of limiting global warming to a maximum of 2 degrees Celsius. It called for innovative, next-gen materials like hemp, and other bast fibers, to meet climate targets. Yet, certification and transparency are critical to delivering on the climate-smart promise of hemp. The Responsible Hemp Standard offers that solution and we are eager to act on the momentum fostered at the conference in 2024.
