On Friday in New York City I had the opportunity to meet the new cohort of founders in the Andreessen Horowitz TxO initiative and witness the magic of Kofi Ampadu and his team at a16z. When Caitlin Glazebrook invited me to become a TxO mentor I didn't know much about the world of venture capital but I was inspired by their mission to create community for under-networked founders. It was an honor to be chosen to attend the annual The Business of Fashion's second annual #BoFGlobalBeautyForum surrounded by friends new and old. It’s a rare industry conference that is equal parts education, networking and self care.
