The last few days we were priviliged to spent some time together with friends and colleagues from all over the world, joining us in the beautiful historic setting of Anargyrios & Korgialenios School of Spetses to present and participate in the first “Workshop on AI in Oncology: applications & challenges”. We interacted and learned from AI experts, delved into the exciting new world of AI possibilities and dynamic potentials in oncology, laughed and shared amazing moments in Spetses, the island of unique energy, cherished and celebrated old friendships and fostered new ones, enjoyed a few unforgettable days of togetherness. And also organised and followed our I3LUNG annual meeting, celebrating two years of working among this amazing dedicated team from all over the globe- thank you all for coming, each one has and is making an incredible difference and together we rock! Mulling through the last few days, and the chance to be inside the AKSS 's walls in beautiful Spetses. A place loaded with history (Watson & Crick, 1966 !) and for some "slightly warm" sunny June days loaded with prominent experts in clinical AI from Greece, the I3LUNG partners and more.  Many thanks to the amazing Helena Linardou and my friend Arsela Prelaj for setting up of this really super event, and for giving me the opportunity to share some tips and insights on preparing, developing and writing up research grants on AI-based topics, using AI solutions. Also thanks to Vanja Mišković for co-chairing the session, and Layla Giati for the organization ! I hope the participants got something from the take-home messages and not just my usual dumb analogies 😉 have to keep people interested somehow. 

We have reached the end of this third #I3LUNG Annual Meeting 2024. We want to express our sincere thanks to everyone for joining us on this journey. Especially Arsela Prelaj for her leadership and inspiring words. Let's continue to carry this momentum forward as we pursue our mission of improving patient care and promoting innovation in healthcare. Until next year, everyone! Over the past two days, the Scientific Workshop brought together partners of the #I3LUNG sharing their insights with an audience of 50 attendees from diverse backgrounds. After one plane, one boat, and about 12 hours of travel, everyone from across Europe, Israel, and even the USA has arrived! Thank you Helena Linardou from Metropolitan Hospital for putting this together.
