In the article below, we spotlight one of our exceptional partners, Concurrency, Inc., which has been delivering impactful AI workshops to our Milwaukee and i.c.stars |* Chicago cohorts. Nathan Lasnoski leads these workshops with passion, challenging interns to create their own AI Agents. He returns the following week to review their completed projects and provide feedback. Nathan, along with Sam Hilgendorf, even gave one of our interns, Christina Velasquez, the opportunity to showcase her skills at #SummerfestTech, where she presented her AI bot, Mr. Stars. We recently hosted a social impact hackathon (a part of our Tech Pathways program), sponsored by Pfizer. This topic was Black Maternal Healthcare and involved the i.c.stars Chicago cohort, with participation from our i.c.moms cohort, using design thinking and tech to create solutions. We kicked off the event with subject matter expert from the University of Chicago Medicine Sarosh Rana, MD, MPH, FACOG, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
