We’re excited to announce that Nathan Pulscher, FACHE, will be the next president of Hutchinson Health! Nathan, who has been president of Olivia Hospital & Clinic since 2022, will begin his new role in December. He succeeds Jim Lyons, who is retiring in December from Hutchinson Health after 28 years, including the past five as president. “Having worked with Nathan in his role at Olivia Hospital & Clinic, we’ve seen firsthand his dedication, vision and commitment to expanding comprehensive care across our region,” said Hutchinson Health Board Chair Scott Staples. “We’re confident his leadership will continue to drive Hutchinson Health toward new growth and innovations that improve the health and well-being of our community.” Join us in congratulating Nathan and welcoming him to Hutchinson Health! At HealthPartners, we’re always looking for ways to end the stigma surrounding mental health and illnesses. By integrating new programs and attending community events, we aim to change attitudes about mental health and promote well-being for everyone. Our recent work to improve mental health care access includes: · We are incorporating a new rapid access model to provide short-term interventions, ensuring patients receive timely care. · We offer the Crisis Immediate Assessment program, which allows clinicians to request immediate support from a behavioral health consultant for patients experiencing a mental health crisis. · Participating in #NAMIWalks (pictured) to encourage open discussion of mental illness, raise money for future advocacy work and learn where our colleagues and community members find joy. Today is World Mental Health Day. Let’s Make It OK to talk about mental health and illnesses so everyone feels safe and empowered to get the support and care they deserve.
