Early adopters of remote therapy for students with IEPs have found themselves at the forefront of a movement that addresses some of the inequities created by critical shortages of qualified clinicians. Not all remote therapy options are the same, though. School districts that have leaned into Collaborative Virtual Therapy are redefining how therapy services are delivered in educational settings, allowing them to better serve students with IEPs by providing more consistent, accessible, and scalable therapy solutions that involve a care team of providers, educators, and families. Join the conversation at our webinar with Education Week this Thursday, Oct. 3 at 2 pm ET. Register at https://lnkd.in/dsAtp2wT

We are deeply saddened by the recent events at Appalachee High School. Our thoughts are with the students, families, and educators impacted by this tragedy. In moments like these, it’s important to provide emotional support to our children and help them process their feelings. To assist parents and educators, we’ve created this resource for guidance on talking to students after a school shooting. This tool offers practical tips for addressing fear, anxiety, and grief, while helping children feel safe and supported.
