This past academic year, the #HR Division facilitated its first Mentorship Program. Many of the mentors and mentees were able to meet for the first time in person at our socials last night and earlier this morning. If you’d like to be part of our mentorship program (as a mentor or mentee), please visit our website to join! Many of our mentees received career coaching, while both our mentors and mentees found collaborators. We hope you consider joining! Happy Conferencing. Posted by MaQueba L. This morning we honored outgoing members of the HR Division executive commitee: After 9 years (the last 6 on the leadership track) we say goodbye and THANK YOU to David Collings for everything he has done for the division. Mila Lazarova, Karen M. Landay, Ph.D., and Jake Messersmith all come to the end of their 3 year term as representative-at-large (although Karen has been re-elected for another 3 and Jake will stay on volunteering as the HR Division treasurer). Thank you! A final thank you to Hannah Park and Anastasiia Agolli who are ending their time as student representatives.

Good morning, everyone! This is the last takeover from Ran Bi during #AOM2024, as I will be leaving Chicago today. I want to take a moment to thank Brian W. Swider, Tae-Youn Park, and Shuang Ren for organizing a wonderful "HR Division Late-Stage Doctoral Student Consortium". I've made new friends, received one-on-one feedback on my dissertation proposal from Catherine Connelly, and gotten helpful advice on teaching/research/job market/service. As a Ph.D. candidate, I felt fully supported, understood, and encouraged there! I would like to share selfies that I took with my amazing friends ( Kathryn Brettin, Ann Sophie Lauterbach, and Yiqi Wu) I met at the consortium (we really tried our best to take a selfie after a long day…).

A very big thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered at, or organized one of the career-stage PDWs at this year’s Academy of Management annual meeting. Altogether we welcomed hundreds of scholars at PhD, early career, and mid-career stages to the sessions.

Greetings from MaQueba L. Massey, Ph.D.! This is my #takeoverera. Happy #AOM2024. Are you attending #HR related sessions? Currently, Drs. Darryl Rice, PhD, Derek R. Avery, Ashleigh Shelby Rosette, Dr. Tina O., and Ivy Onyeador are discussing Race in Management. A topic that has significantly impacted #HR and the workplace. We invite you to attend this and many other sessions throughout the conference! We look forward to seeing you. Happy Conferencing!

Greetings from the AOM HR Division at our annual conference! This is Tianjun Sun (in my LinkedIn takeover era 💁🏻♀️). Happy #AOM2024 Consortia Day! I’m thrilled to be part of today's new/junior faculty consortium. It’s inspiring to see the many groups of HR scholars and connect with colleagues at various career stages. 🤓 Don‘t miss our upcoming social events (here are some info pics for you 👐🏼) - they’re perfect opportunities to network and engage with our vibrant community. Looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones in the coming days!
