OCTOBER FEATURED PROJECT // This month’s featured project from our 2024 Wall Calendar brings us to the beautiful front entrance of a Georgian Colonial style home. After previously showcasing the two Cooper Stairworks Stairs inside the residence, we’re now turning the spotlight to the home’s grand entryway featuring a Captiva Custom Wood Door. The homeowners wanted an entrance that would make a lasting first impression, and we delivered with a custom 12-lite, 2-panel Captiva Wood Door with two sidelights and three transoms above. CAPTIVA CUSTOM WOOD DOORS // Crafted from Sapele, a hardwood known for its strength and natural resistance to the elements, this door is built to handle whatever coastal New England weather throws its way. Plus, its rich color and smooth grain bring a touch of luxury, adding to the home’s overall grandeur. This Captiva Custom Wood Door does more than welcome you inside—it creates a grand first impression that’s as functional as it is beautiful. LOCALLY MADE WITH CARE // Each Captiva Custom Wood Door is handcrafted by our skilled artisans right here in Somerset, MA. Choosing local means you’re not only getting top-notch craftsmanship, but also great service and support—before, during, and long after installation. We’re proud to stand behind our work, and we’re just down the road if you ever need us. THANK YOU // We extend our sincere appreciation to Colclough Construction and Catalano Architects for trusting us with this exceptional project. It’s been an honor to contribute to a home that so seamlessly combines craftsmanship and timeless design. AUGUST PROJECT SPOTLIGHT // This month's featured project from the 2024 Horner Wall Calendar is a seaside teardown and rebuild in a picturesque coastal New England village. A few years ago, the homeowners purchased a tiny seaside cottage and enjoyed several summers there. Now empty nesters, they set their sights on creating their dream home—a spacious retreat they look forward to enjoying year-round in retirement. With a clear vision and a great eye for design, the homeowners meticulously planned every detail to reflect their style, creating a truly special home. Our expert sales representative worked closely with both the builder, Jon Palmstrom of JNP Contracting LLC, and the homeowner to help realize their vision. With classic Coastal New England styling, the house showcases thoughtful millwork details throughout. Horner Millwork proudly supplied all the interior trim, including v-groove walls, casings, base mouldings, crown mouldings, stair parts, interior doors, mantel components, and more. We commend Jon Palmstrom of JNP Contracting LLC for his exceptional work and architect John Dvorsack Architect, for his vision. THANK YOU // We extend our gratitude to Jon Palmstrom of JNP Contracting LLC for trusting us with this project.
