Homans Associates is the premier distributor of HVAC Equipment, Supplies and Mechanical Insulation products in the Northeast. We've been serving the contractor community since 1952 with locations across all of New England plus New York and New Jersey. Our logistics network includes over 80 trucks and almost 1 million square feet of distribution space. At Homans, we take our customers' success seriously. We utilize both Technology and People to create solutions for the challenges our customers face.. We have developed, partnered and invested in tools that propel their business forward. We also employ the foremost experts in the HVAC and Mechanical Insulation industries.     Our Homans Associate Excellence Shoutout this week goes to Jonathan Tormo! Nomination: “Jonathan has been working nonstop for the last few weeks going branch to branch as they have been short staffed. He has always been a team player and loves what he does. Customers love him and he goes above and beyond for them. No matter how difficult the task is, he makes sure he completes it to the best of his ability. Never seen someone put so much love and effort for Homans.” Fun facts about John:  What's the best place you've ever visited? Why? For now without a doubt, it would be Dubai. It is like living in the future because of how far advance they are in architectural building designs and technology are Place you'd like to visit that you haven't been to? I would love to go visit Japan their car and motorcycle scenic culture is out of this world ha-ha What is your dream car? This is easy a McLaren 720s What's your favorite season? Summertime baby !! What's your biggest fear? Not Living Life How would you describe yourself in three words? It would be being Humble, Honest & Smart What’s the weirdest food you’ve ever eaten? Turkey Tail

    Our Homans Associate Excellence Shoutout this week goes to Bruce Edwards!   Nomination: “Bruce is one of our most seasoned team players. When you give him an idea to run with, he comes back with results. He is customer service driven and will do everything in his power to support his teammates. Not to mention everyone loves working with him! We have a stronger presence in the West Chester market because of him.” Fun facts about Bruce: What is your favorite season? Summer at the Jersey Shore. What is your favorite Holiday and why? Thanksgiving. Family and good food! If you could choose your age forever, what age would you choose and why? I am very comfortable with my age now. i would not like to lose a minute of what has already happened in my life already. What is your favorite quote? “You never get a second chance at a first impression.” What do you consider your core values?  Honesty and Sincerity.

    Our Homans Associate Excellence Shoutout this week goes to Mike Gagner!   Nomination: “There are not enough words to express how much of an invaluable resource Mike is. This goes for both Homans and our customers. He functions seamlessly as a team player on a day-to-day basis, whether being a role model to some or a trusted and reliable mentor to others. He consistently and perpetually goes above and beyond for anyone and everyone. Every day we operate under immense pressure in this fast-paced environment and through it all, Mike is constantly there to make sure we not only get the job done, but it gets done right! Thank you, Mike, for everything you do!” Fun facts about Mike: What is your favorite season? Winter. Love the chance to go out on the frozen ponds or backyard ice rink to skate with the family. What is your favorite Holiday and why? Halloween. Love to get out the decorations and work with my daughter on decorating the house for the season. What is the best thing that's ever happened to you? The birth of my kids. They keep me grounded every day and I look forward spending time with them and the activities that they do. What 1 item would you bring with you if you were stranded on an island? Bear Grylls. Just so I had a chance to make it off the island. What do you consider your core values?  Accountability. I feel that in life you need to be accountable for the decisions that you make in both your personal and work life. Mistakes will happen but that is life, and you need to take the hit, fix it, move on, and learn from it. What is your favorite quote? "Chess is like real life. The game goes on until you lose the king., not the queen, not the knight. Pieces will fall but the game must go on. Never give up on yourself because you lost a piece. After all you are the most valuable piece on the board. You got this"
