Exciting news! Home Health & Hospice Care was selected as the winner of Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union's National Nonprofit Day campaign. The campaign, which is part of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union’s Small Acts That Give Back initiative, ran from July 15 through August 2. Community members nominated their favorite local 501(c) (3) nonprofits and as the winner, HHHC received a $2,024 donation! These funds will support our Access to Care program so we may care for more patients at the Community Hospice House, giving their loved ones the opportunity to focus on sharing precious time together. Yesterday was a blast! Thanks to our amazing Employee Engagement Committee, we threw an "End of Summer Smash" to celebrate our team members who hit 5, 10, 15, and 20-year milestones (in April-August)! 🎉 Family and friends joined us as we honored everyone's milestones with commemorative pins and delicious smash burgers 🍔 from our friends at 603 Smok'n Que food truck. Our Community Hospice House volunteer gardeners continue their efforts to expand the gardens, emphasizing plants that support our native wildlife with pollen, nectar and foliage for reproduction. The bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects approve of the new additions!

At Home Health & Hospice Care, we deeply appreciate the sacrifice made by veterans and their families. In celebration of the 4th of July, our incredible volunteers have assembled care packages to deliver to hospice and palliative care veterans. These small tokens of appreciation are our way of saying thank you for their service and dedication to our country.
