Many thanks to Oak Park Village Trustee Ravi Parakkat for visiting Hephzibah CEO Jason Patenaude at Hephzibah Home this week. We need the support of our community partners more than ever, and we are grateful for local residents and elected officials who listen to us discuss the needs of our organization, and support our efforts to help children and families. Thank you Ravi!

For the past 25 years, Regina Harbor has been a trusted, compassinate and vital member of the Hephzibah Team. At Hephzibah Home, Gina has helped thousands of children over the years heal from their trauma. Whenever we encounter a former resident, they always say with fondness "I remeber Gina! She was the the best!" We can see why—Gina gives her whole heart to her job and cares deeply for the kids at the home. Hephzibah woudln't be the same without her. Thank you for your service and dedication, Gina!

Last week, Illinois Department of Children and Family Services Director Heidi Mueller and Chief Deputy Director of Clinical & Child Services Keith Polan visited Hephzibah CEO Jason Patenaude and Chief Operating Officer Nancy Dorfman Schwartz to learn more about Hephzibah programs and to collaborate on how to help children in Illinois receive the services they need. We always are seeking ways to collaborate with partner agencies to find better solutions for children in the child welfare system. Thank you, Heidi and Keith, for the visit and for the continued partnership!

We had a lovely visit this week with Lindsey from the American Dental Hygienists' Association. Lindsey stopped by Hephzibah to present Volunteer Manager Katherine with a generous donation of dental products for Hephzibah children! We are always so grateful to our community partners for the compassion and care they show Hephzibah families...and when a corporate partner also happens to be a local parent and advocate for Hephzibah, it's a full-circle system of support! Thank you Lindsey and ADHA!

Look who's 25! Director of Day Care Amy O'Rourke has dedicated 25 years of her working life to Hephzibah! Amy's impact on Hephzibah is immeasurable, but we can say that she gives 100% of herself to her job running our incredible After School Care and Summer Camp Program. This program is one of the best offered to local families, and we are so grateful for her dedication and effort to always prioritize the needs of the children and parents she works with. Thank you Amy! Hephzibah would not be the same without you!
