Elevates the well being & dignity of women by providing diapers, period products and other essential baby supplies.

About us

We are the baby supply bank of Knoxville, Tennessee. 1 in 2 moms has had to choose between diapers and food for their baby. Public Assistance programs don't allow for the purchase of diapers and other essential baby items. Helping Mamas solution is to collect and distribute essential baby items to organizations that serve women and children. We partner with high quality organizations that are working to move families out of poverty, by providing their clients with the essential baby items such as diapers, wipes, car seats, cribs, strollers, clothing and so much more.

  • Thank you to Let Her Speak for stepping up and organizing these events to support those affected by Hurricane Helene. We are grateful to be part of this collaborative effort to ensure that families receive the critical supplies they need during this time. Every diaper, wipe, and donation counts as we work together to help rebuild our community. Looking forward to the turnout at both events – together, we can make a significant impact.

These last 10 days have felt like a whirlwind of emotions, shock, and heaviness for so many in our community. If you or the people you love were impacted by Hurricane Helene - words of encouragement and hope just don't feel like enough in this moment. It's at times like this that we return to a practice that helps us move forward when it all feels overwhelming - writing down what we can't control and what we can control. Here's the list we've come up with so far in our reflections. There are several initiatives we are working on within Let Her Speak to help the 2nd and 3rd waves of rebuilding in Appalachia, but there are still basic staples needed by our neighbors, especially women and children. With that in mind, we have TWO events happening this week and next where we will be collecting necessities for women and children that will be transported to disaster relief centers for distribution through Helping Mamas Knoxville. Upcoming Events with Donation Collections: 🗳️ Let Her Vote Trivia Night with League of Women Voters of Knoxville/Knox County Details: https://lnkd.in/eqfY2AtV When: Tuesday, October 8th, 6pm - 7:30pm Where: Knoxville Public Works Complex, Community Room 💰 Women Building Wealth Workshop Details: https://lnkd.in/eFjdXfWS When: Tuesday, October 15th, 5:30pm - 7:30pm Where: 121 Tech Hub, Old City Knoxville What we're collecting: Diapers Wipes Formula Period products Personal hygiene items First aid supplies Batteries Diaper cream Flashlights Whether you choose to donate and stay for the event or simply drop off supplies during the times listed - your contribution in whatever capacity you have will mean so much to the women you're supporting.
