🚀 NASA's one small step into the Creator Economy In early September, NASA invited creators to apply for a spot to witness the launch of the Europa Clipper spacecraft. They also said they intended to create many more opportunities for creators to get involved and showcase NASA's missions. It's an exciting time in the creator economy as more iconic institutions and government agencies tap into the power of creators. Read more about the opportunity below 👇

Like every job, it’s easy to get stressed out and frustrated, it’s a natural part of life, and it’s also normal for this to impact your behaviour with others occasionally. However, with the creator economy in particular being an industry that is constantly evolving and changing, there’s one thing that will always stand out according to Lina Maassarani: being nice. Showing kindness helps build relationships, whether you’re an influencer partnering with a brand or an agency working with multiple clients, Lina says: “Building genuine connections is key.” For creators, being nice also helps audiences connect with you and view you as authentic. Overall, it's clear kindness can help progress you in this industry. What else do you think is key to being successful in the industry? Be sure to share below!

Senior Influencer Talent Manager | 🚀 Ensuring seamless influencer-brand collaborations 🤝🏼 | Influencer Marketing

I think I’ve seen it all—the highs, the lows, and everything in between. But there’s one thing that stands out as a game-changer in Influencer Marketing: being nice ✨ Yep, it’s not a standard thing, or a given today! Being nice and kind does make one less professional or less valuable or less of anything … First off, let’s talk about relationships. This business is all about people. Whether you’re an influencer or working behind the scenes like me, building genuine connections is key. When you’re kind and respectful, you create a positive vibe that people want to be around. Trust me, it makes collaborations smoother and way more fun! Now relatability… Audiences can spot a fake from a mile away. They crave authenticity, and kindness is a huge part of that. When influencers are genuinely nice, it shines through in their content. Followers feel it, engage more, and stick around longer. Oh, and if an influencer IS nice, brands will notice and remember. Their reputation will precede them, opening doors to more opportunities. And for those of us managing campaigns, a kind work culture is everything. It boosts morale, sparks creativity, and makes the daily grind enjoyable. Plus, when challenges pop up (and they always do), handling them with grace and kindness keeps the ship sailing smoothly. Being nice doesn’t make you a pushover. In fact, it can be your superpower. It helps you navigate conflicts, build stronger partnerships, and leave a lasting positive impression. In a world driven by people and relationships, kindness is your best bet. Have you faced some nastiness in IM? I want to hear some tea! 😄 #InfluencerMarketing #KindnessMatters

An insightful afternoon of sessions here at #CJU24 💪We’ve learned how brands can build loyalty with niche influencers and also find the right creators to partner with. There’s many metrics you can look at beyond a follower size. Engagement rates, audience demographics, and even the length of content (short-form vs long-form) will determine different results. 😎We also learned how affiliate marketers can prevent media mix models from ruining their lives. Media mix models often overlook affiliate for a number of reasons and this can result in budget cuts. When asked if anyone had been affected by this a sizeable portion raised their hands. There’s a number of ways you can improve MMMs view of affiliate. The most important is clean data. Data has come up again and again in conversations here at CJU. It might not be new or flashy, but it works. If we can continue to collect more valuable data and use it intelligently, the affiliate space will see a lot of growth.

What does an affiliate do when they lose all their traffic? Sadly, this has been a problem for many affiliates lately. The coupon space, in particular, saw several players receive devastating blows to their traffic following Google's Site Reputation Abuse update, wiping out their visibility in the SERPs. How do you recover from such an event? Brook Schaaf Schaaf, CEO of FMTC shares his thoughts on what affected affiliates could do next. #CJU24

“Full customer journey marketing IS marketing. The funnel has collapsed.” #CJU24 is off to an inspiring start with a trio of forward-thinking sessions this morning. Santi Pierini, CEO of CJ took the stage to discuss the network’s newest acquisitions and partnerships, its focus on AI and influencers, and why performance is the future of marketing. Arthur Sadoun, CEO of Publicis Groupe, and Dave Penski, CEO of Publicis Media then joined the stage to expound on AI’s wider role in marketing and the opportunities in Amazon. “It’s time to take the BS out of AI,” said Sadoun. “We can’t say enough about the importance of Amazon,” said Penski.
