I met Amir Rubin when he was CEO of Stanford Healthcare, the hospital and clinics. I followed his career as he moved to UnitedHealthcare and then to OneMedical Group where he transformed the company and took it public before selling it to Amazon for almost $4 billion. Rubin understood that organizational transformation and improvement efforts required that he build power and influence.
