Hamilton Center, Inc. is a regional behavioral health system in Central and West Central Indiana with corporate offices located in Terre Haute, IN. Services and treatment are provided to children, youth and adults, with specialized programs for expectant Mothers, Infants, and people with drug and alcohol problems. Counseling and therapy services are provided for people who may be struggling with stress, life changes, or relationship issues as well as more serious problems such as depression, anxiety disorders, serious mental illnesses. Hamilton Center has been building hope and changing lives, for thousands of adults, children, and families in the Wabash Valley and beyond for over forty years. Our offices are designed to be convenient, private and confidential, reducing the barriers sometimes associated with seeking psychological and mental health treatment. Hamilton Center employs over 500 staff in ten counties, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, therapists, counselors, case managers, etc

No one should stand alone in our fight to end overdose. While every individual action matters greatly, coming together as an international community creates a powerful collective action. One that moves us with greater speed toward our shared goal of preventing, and ultimately, ending all overdoses. Through our 2024 theme, “Together we can” we’re highlighting the strength of coming together and standing in support of those connected to the tragedy of overdose. For people who use drugs and those who don’t. For heartbroken friends and family members of lost loved ones. For activists who fight for sorely needed policy reform. For healthcare and harm reduction workers. For tireless advocates. Overdose can affect anyone, and we encourage you to remember the tenacity of our community. Lean into the power that we can have when we work together. This August 31, reach out and connect with others in your local community and join the global IOAD movement. Thank you for registering for the 10th Annual Diversity Walk! We are looking forward to having you join us on Saturday as we celebrate our community. If you have a shirt from years past, please be sure to wear it on Saturday. If you need a Diversity Walk shirt, we have them available in infant, toddler, youth, and adult sizes while supplies last. Advance t-shirt pick will be available this week, Tuesday-Thursday, at Hamilton Center’s administrative office located at 634 Beech Street in Terre Haute. Stop by anytime between 11:00 and 1:00 to pick up your shirts. Pick-up will also be available Saturday morning before the walk.
