HCA Florida Trinity Hospital hosts a community lecture on Heart and Reflux. Heartburn and reflux. They are kinds of indigestion that can cause a burning sensation in your chest. The two can be caused by acid regurgitating up into your esophagus. There are minimally invasive surgical treatments available to help treat these conditions. You can learn about some of these treatments including one that involves the insertion of a small flexible band designed to restore your body's natural barrier to reflux in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) at an upcoming lunch and learn. Register to attend at: https://bit.ly/3XY4zhx Registration required. Lunch served.
