Meet Tom, Co-Founder and CFO of Harlem Baking Company! 🍰 Before joining HBCo, Tom Liconte spent over 30 years in managerial roles across various brokerage firms and banks, mastering a wide range of financial instruments and asset classes. But seeking a new challenge, he decided to dive into a completely different "asset class"—desserts! 🍨 What started as a passion project with a close friend (Charles Devigne) quickly evolved into something extraordinary. With prior experience in the restaurant industry and a deep passion for cooking, Tom knew it was the perfect opportunity to pursue something he truly loves. Fun fact: 30 years ago, Tom was at a crossroads—he placed a bid to purchase a restaurant and also applied for his first job in finance. He made a promise to himself that whichever opportunity came through first would determine his career path. Finance won out, shaping the next three decades of his life. Meet Charles, Co-Founder & CEO of Harlem Baking Company! 🍰 As the R&D lead, brand ambassador, and dreamer at Harlem Baking Company, Charles Devigne brings over 25 years of experience in NYC's restaurant scene to our jarred desserts. His greatest joy has always been seeing the happiness on a patron’s face after a great meal, and now he channels that passion into every dessert we create. Long before HBCo was even an idea, Charles’s French family would visit New York and rave about his cheesecakes, joking that they would be a hit in Paris.
