  • We recently completed a large bridge trough project for a local customer. These are used in an assortment of bridge projects for both local and state, and can be manufactured to any state specification. Our bridge troughs are custom made to any length, width, thickness, and configuration. A big shout out to AJ and Charlie, our production employees who did a great job on this.

  • It was back in 1988 that Todd Collene started working at Hanna Rubber Company. Who could have foreseen that, 36 years later, Todd would still be hard at work for that same company as Sales Manager? But that’s the way it worked out. Starting out in the hydraulics department, building assemblies, Todd quickly took on other responsibilities and moved up the ranks. In fact, Todd’s helping out at the counter turned into a full-time counter position. From there, that inside sales position turned into managing inside sales for a decade, then heading into outside sales. And now, he’s sales manager. His favorite part of the job? Todd likes setting up an order that proceeds through the shop and to the client flawlessly. “No kickbacks or questions? That’s glorious,” says Todd. Todd’s advice for those wanting to enter the industrial field is simple. “Start out and work the shops for a while. Know what’s going on out there, and what clients want, and how it’s created before you come inside to sell. Get out there and make a hose or cut a gasket or ship something. The biggest challenge is product knowledge.” Well said, Todd. And thanks for 36 years of exemplary dedication, each and every day.

  • FIFTY-FOUR YEARS of not just service, but superlative service, deserves some recognition—if not amazement. And that’s what Al Kelly of Hanna Rubber Company has earned. He’s seen it all. From using a pulley system with a coffee can to file orders—to today’s technology-driven computer world. (He’s website and keyword savvy, making tweaks to the Hanna Rubber site every day.) His philosophy is 100% in lock step with Singer Industrial’s customer-oriented outlook. “When I get an inquiry, I reply immediately and tell them, ‘I’m Al Kelly, and I’m on it.’” And he’s been “on it” in industrial rubber for 54 years. In fact, some have called him “The Godfather Of Gaskets.” So, how ‘bout a round of applause for a guy who is honestly too humble to accept it, but deserves it anyway, Al Kelly? #HannaRubber #SingerIndustrial #CustomerOriented #Integrity
