I completed Grinnell Leadership Inc.'s yearlong Advanced Group Coaching program a few weeks back, a journey that began with their 4-day Jumpstart program in April 2023. It was a plunge into the depths of group coaching, an intense and transformative experience. Here are the significant lessons I've learned: - Self-awareness. I was lacking it, big time. But through this journey, I've experienced significant growth in this area, which I am proud of and committed to continuing. - Feedback. Leveraging honest and timely feedback from teammates that I know are providing the input because they want me to succeed is crucial.    - Vulnerability. Opening up within our cohort and confronting limiting beliefs led to profound insights about myself during these sessions.  - Strength. It takes guts to do a 360 assessment, With questions like 'What is her greatest weakness?' and 'What does she need to stop doing'… The feedback was tough, but it also included strengths others saw in me that I don't see in myself. - Progress. Change is gradual, but I'm proud of my strides over the past 15 months. Today, I have a calmer presence and tone, listen more, and do my best to find solutions rather than react. I'm a work in progress, striving to better myself daily. This journey has transformed me into a better teammate, mother, and partner. I am grateful to my The Wesson Group and Grinnell Leadership Inc. teams for their support, and a special thanks to my father, Tim Delaney, for recognizing the importance of this experience and giving me the opportunity. #professionaldevelopment #continuouseducation #wessonexperience #selfawareness
