The specialty insurance brokerage Greene & Associates was founded in 1986, when William Greene resigned his position as vice president of a major national wholesaler with a vision of a specialty organization built to specifically serve the unique insurance needs of retail agents. After just a few months, Greene & Associates secured contracts with key specialty line companies and moved into its first office in Orchard Park, NY. Greene & Associates quickly established itself as an insurance leader in commercial, wholesale brokerage and underwriting.

Greene is family! On Friday we celebrated our first bring your child to work day. Greene hosted over 15 children of our associates. It gave our organization the opportunity to meet some of the the most valuable people in our associates lives! The little ones got a look at what is done daily at our office in East Aurora. Of course we also sprinkled in some fun with races around the office, craft station, ice cream sundaes and kickball!
Greene & Associates recently announced the addition of Ray Quigley, as Sr. Underwriting Specialist, to its underwriting team. Quigley brings nearly 20 years of specialty underwriting, marketing, program development, portfolio management, and leadership experience to Greene. Quigley most recently worked with Everest Insurance as Vice President of Programs, managing several multi-line specialty programs along with new program development responsibilities. Prior to that, he spent seven years with Old Republic Specialty Insurance Underwriters, helping launch their programs division. Ray began his career at ACE Group as part of an underwriting training program, where he held several underwriting positions over nine years prior to joining Old Republic. Ray earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. In his role at Greene, Quigley will produce a book of umbrella/excess business, manage Greene’s internal audit process, assist as an internal referral underwriter, assist in the training & development of new hires to the underwriting team as well as pitch in on special projects and program implementation. Quigley, who is based out of Hatboro, PA., is married and has two children. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his kids, attending concerts with his wife and rooting for the Philadelphia 76ers and Eagles. Greene & Associates offers an exclusive commercial umbrella/excess product nationwide and is the underwriting manager for a non-admitted primary GL program for New York State contractors. The organization also acts as a wholesale brokerage firm in New York, Connecticut, Ohio, Texas, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
