📰 A new article by the Golisano Institute's Holly Brown, DNP, RN, PMHNP-BC, PMHCS and Janiece DeSocio, PhD, RN, PMHNP-BC, FAAN explores the impacts of ableism in psychiatric nursing and ways clinicians can prevent ableism and begin to close the mental health equity gap for people with IDD. 🧠Mental health conditions are prevalent among people with IDD.
