About us
Welcome to the Worple family farm in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Producing organic maple syrup, honey, fruit, berries and nuts. Maple Syrup was the first product we produced on the farm (Spring 2021). Honey followed that summer. The crafting (really, more of naive first attempts) of wines may test our love for lifelong learning. Time, luck and the gods of fermentation will determine if they ever make a more public appearance. A “happy” of Golden Retrievers in the family inspired the Golden Dog Farm name - currently home to Dewey, Uncle Lenny, Mar and counting. We're sad to share that Boo recently followed Addy, Buddy and Kate in crossing the rainbow bridge (May of 2022). What is a "happy?" It's the term we've coined as the collective noun for a group of Goldens - like a "rhumba" of rattlesnakes, a "murder" of crows, or a "gaggle" of geese. So give our incomparable maple syrup and honey a try, and then come join us for a tour of the farm and experience our guiding philosophy in person. Happiness is Golden.®
