🌟 On 9/20, CAREhER hosted an intimate yet impactful luncheon at Artemis Grill in #Singapore, bringing together 17 women leaders, all set against the stunning backdrop of Marina Bay and the city’s skyscrapers. Our attendees included founders of marketing firms, logistics software companies, fashion brands, and medical testing companies, alongside CEOs and directors from tech, banking, and Web 3.0 AI companies. Despite the diversity in sectors, the challenges they face are strikingly similar: scaling rapidly while preserving company culture, maintaining team dynamic with limited resources, and balancing profitability with growth. Leaders also explored the complexities of hiring international talent, while managing the higher cost of Singapore’s workforce. The discussion touched on how certain industries, traditionally more conservative, can be disrupted by women founders who challenge and shift the mindsets of more male-dominated management teams. These trailblazing women are redefining norms and injecting new approaches into sectors resistant to change. Even larger tech companies must remain flexible and innovative to stay ahead, demonstrating that agility and creativity are essential for long-term success, regardless of industry and size. The conversation extended to larger organizations, when hiring becomes more specialized and relies on stronger processes, but also faces the challenges where the actual hiring teams are removed from daily operations. It was insightful to hear multiple approaches; some organizations choose to trust the process to remove biases, while others felt it was critical to consider team chemistry and management styles to foster a stronger culture. Each of the 17 leaders shared their unique perspectives, exchanging strategies and solutions. Special thanks to our partner, Liliana Mata from GoGlobal, who shared best practices and success stories addressing similar pain points. The luncheon reinforced CAREhER’s mission to create a supportive network where women leaders can share insights, disrupt industries, and grow together, focusing on resilience, profitability, and innovative success.
