Our comprehensive curriculum covers essential topics such as earning income, spending, saving, investing, managing credit, and managing risks. The results speak volumes – an outstanding 80% mastery and 30% growth in financial literacy standards among participating students. This initiative is more than just a program, it is a testament to our shared commitment to equitable financial education and the future success of our youth. 🌟 Exciting Announcement! 🌟 I’m thrilled to share that Wells Fargo has made a $250,000 philanthropic investment in the Goalsetter Foundation to pilot in-classroom financial literacy education for over 500 middle school students at 7 public schools in partnership with NYC Department of Education Public Schools District 18 in East Flatbush and Canarsie in Brooklyn! The announcement was made on Tuesday, June 4th, during a vibrant Family Financial Empowerment Fair attended by ~100 community members. This initiative is an important step in advancing equitable economic mobility that brings financial literacy education and skills directly to classrooms in the communities we invest in. The enthusiastic engagement we experienced during the evening’s celebration was truly inspiring!
