📢 Gimmal Tech Tips: Simplify Legal Cases and Holds in Gimmal Records 📂⚖️ Managing legal holds doesn't have to be complicated! With Gimmal Records, you can streamline the process and ensure compliance effortlessly. Here's how: 1️⃣ Why Use Gimmal Records for Managing Legal Holds? A Legal Hold in Gimmal Records suspends an item's lifecycle, preventing any disposition or modifications while the hold is in effect. It's an essential tool to protect records during legal proceedings. 2️⃣ Creating a Legal Case Navigate to the Manage option, select Legal Cases, and click +Create. Fill in the details: -Title (required) -Description -Court -Case Number -Opened Date -Close Date 3️⃣ Adding Records to a Legal Hold Throughout Gimmal Records, easily add records to a Legal Hold from the pull-down menu or the Record Overview page. Simply select Legal Hold, then choose the appropriate case. 4️⃣ Legal Hold Rules Automate the process by creating Legal Hold Rules that add records based on specific properties. This is similar to setting up Classification Rules and ensures no relevant records are overlooked. 5️⃣ Viewing Records on Hold View all records assigned to a Legal Hold by running a standard report or by selecting Legal Holds from the Legal Case menu. Get detailed insights without the hassle. 6️⃣ Deleting a Legal Case To delete a case, first enter the Close Date to release records from the hold, then select Delete. ⚠️ Important: Deleting a case releases all associated records from their holds. 🚀 Optimize your records management and stay compliant with ease!
