    We’ve been on a mission with Walmart to shout out Black ingenuity and entrepreneurship all summer and beyond 📢 Nearly 50% of Black-owned businesses are discovered through word of mouth, so we took Walmart Black & Unlimited: The Shoutout on the road – helping amp up support and visibility for Black-led businesses and creators across the country. Our first mobile stop was at Broccoli City, a two-day festival in DC that celebrates music, culture, and community. This year’s event hosted 50,000+ people, and we greeted guests right as they entered with a countertop design bar offering festival goers the opportunity to customize merch for their favorite Black-owned businesses featuring designs by Black artists Chindo Nkenke-Smith and Ceej Vega. We shouted out Black brand founders including Melissa Butler of The Lip Bar Inc., Denise Woodard of Partake Foods, and Shontay Lundy of Black Girl Sunscreen. Combined with giveaways from Black Girl Sunscreen, UNINTERRUPTED The Shop, and KAZMALEJE, the Shoutout was all about spreading the love, proving that personal recommendations hold untapped power. Next, we popped up at Artscape in Baltimore, where legends Chaka Khan and Sheila E., topped the bill, then headed back to Washington, D.C. for the Sai Summer Cookout, with free merch.     We’re going all out for SpongeBob SquarePants’ 25th Anniversary 🍍 with a  year-long, global creative platform that focuses on spreading radical positivity around the world. Built in partnership with Nickelodeon and Paramount+, “Like A Sponge” encompasses a variety of international activations, content, and partnerships, brought to life with creators and fans and united by the idea of living like SpongeBob — where the right perspective can make the mundane magical. For our first IRL activation, we’re showing up at San Diego Comic-Con with SpongeBob’s ✨Fountain of Positivity,✨ a head-turning, joy-inducing waaaaater fountain that keeps fans hydrated without the need for single-use polluting plastic. A bright yellow beacon on the grounds of #SDCC, our functional water fountain will be complete with Sponge-tastic splash zones and  memorable photo moments with your favorite Bikini Bottom characters. “‘Like a Sponge’ is all about seeing the world through Sponge-colored glasses. Bottling that can-do, nothing’s impossible spirit and finding every yay in every day,” said Ian Grody, Chief Creative Officer of Giant Spoon. “We’ve never needed it, and him, more.” SpongeBob’s Fountain of Positivity is located in front of the Omni Hotel from Thursday, July 25 through Saturday, July 27 from 9:30am to 7:00pm, and Sunday, July 28 11:00am to 4:00pm.
