On Tuesday, June 18th, 2024, the GFA Technologies team and the Lagos State Government achieved a significant milestone in the quest to transform Lagos State into a hub of innovation and economic dynamism, by launching the Lagos State Youth Upsill Program (LAG-UP). With the total commitment of the Commissioner for Youths and Social Developments, Mr Mobolaji A. Ogunlende and the Permanent Secretary, Pham. (Mrs) Toyin Oke-Osanyintolu, the LAG-UP Skills Program is a pivotal initiative that will digitally transform over a million young graduates and SMEs in Lagos State. the initiative will also equip the young Lagosians with adequate mentorship from industry experts and access to income generation. The program will leverage GFA's state-of-the-art Ecosystem Management Platform, DIMP, to provide comprehensive training across 84 disciplines. Post-training, GFA will facilitate these newly acquired skills' productivity, enabling participants to offer their services to a global market. On Tuesday, 27th of August 2024, GFA Technologies, in partnership with the Osun State government proudly launched the "Osun Up-kill Program," a transformative initiative aimed at equipping youths, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and business professions with essential skills and solutions towards the digitization of their careers. This program, inspired by the success of similar initiatives like LAG-UP and the Gateway Skills Program, is poised to be a game-changer for economic development in Osun State. At its core, the Osun Up-skill Program is designed to upskill and teach the business owners how to digitize their business in a bid to earn more income easily.
