Cerebral is on a mission to build a new era of mental healthcare.
About us
At Cerebral, we are building a new era of mental healthcare. We believe that everyone everywhere deserves to get the care they need, and are striving to make care convenient and accessible, while tackling the stigmas that surround mental illness. With support from investors like SoftBank, Silver Lake, Access Industries, Bill Ackman, WestCap, and others, and impactful leaders like you, we’ll continue to democratize mental health care and double down on clinical quality to deliver exceptional patient outcomes: • 82% of patients report an improvement in their anxiety symptoms after using Cerebral. • 75% of patients who report improvement in their depression see improvement within 60 days. • 50% of patients who initially report suicidal ideation no longer harbor suicidal thoughts after treatment with Cerebral. This is just the beginning for Cerebral, and we won’t stop building, growing, and iterating until everyone, everywhere can access high-quality evidence-based mental health care without high costs and/or long wait times. We’re looking for mission-driven leaders who share these values, and we need your help as we transform access to high-quality mental health care in the United States and beyond. Attention: We have become aware of scammers misusing our company name to target individuals applying for open positions at Cerebral. Please exercise caution and be vigilant. We do not request sensitive information such as personal data or financial details during the application or interview process. Should you encounter any suspicious activity claiming to be associated with Cerebral, especially regarding job applications, we urge you to report it immediately. We are dedicated to upholding the security and authenticity of our hiring processes and encourage you to verify the legitimacy of any communications bearing our name. You can always apply directly to Cerebral opportunities through our job board versus an external site. https://boards.greenhouse.io/cerebral

Thank you to everyone who made Morningside's inaugural Digital Health Summit a rousing success last week! We couldn't have done it without our dear friends and partners from across the industry and care delivery space. We spent 3 days focused on " Accelerating The Adoption of Technology to Improve Healthcare." Dan Shpilsky led a great panel with healthcare leaders, including Steven D. Shapiro, MD, Rob Fields, Brent Forester, and Alexander Vo. We heard partnership spotlights from Neal Khosla of Curai Health and Emily Young of Tufts Medicine, David Bates of Linus Health and David Peng of Keck Medicine of USC, Sharief Taraman, MD, DABPN, DABPM, FAAP of Cognoa and Srinivasan Suresh MD, MBA, FAAP of UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Joseph Perekupka of Freespira and Jason Parent of Point32Health, and Stacie Bratcher of Wellinks and Andrea Ippolito of SimpliFed. Stephen Bruso led a fireside chat with Rob Fields of Beth Israel, but the highlight definitely was hearing the Devoted Health story from Todd and Ed Park over dinner. We want to give a special thanks to our speakers David Mou MD MBA, Amir Dan Rubin, Todd Park, and Ed Park, as well as to all of the portfolio companies who participated. We can't wait to see you all next year! Picture this: You've diligently saved up, and now you're considering taking trips or brainstorming activities to enrich your days. 🔜 🛩️ But weeks or even months after you leave behind the daily grind — the team collaboration, the to-do list, and the well-defined schedule — you might find yourself feeling adrift... Major life changes and transitions can often become challenging. Studies suggest that close to 1 in 3 retirees experience some form of #depression, a rate that's actually higher than the general adult population. To learn more about #retirement, depression, why it happens, and how to cope, check out our article here: https://lnkd.in/guaCqeRq

Can affirmations really change your emotional and mental state? 🤔 Research says yes! 🧠 Repeating affirmations causes specific parts of the brain to activate and retrains your mind to focus on possibilities and positive ideas. ☀️ Shifting mental patterns in this way reduces stress and negative self-talk so you enjoy a more balanced emotional state. So try incorporating positive affirmations into your daily routine, especially at the start of the work week. 😉 Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/getiz2yT

Happy Hispanic Heritage month! Each year from September 15 to October 15, we honor the cultures and contributions of both Hispanic and Latinx Americans. During this time of celebration, we also want to highlight conversations around #mentalhealth. 💬 Starting these important conversations is just the first step toward promoting open dialogue and addressing the stigma around seeking out mental health support. It's also important to continually advocate for these communities, this month and beyond. 💜 At Cerebral, our mission is to not only make mental health care more accessible, but provide resources for all individuals on their mental health journey. If you want to talk to someone or explore our free resources, check out our link here: https://cerebral.com/blog #HispanicHeritageMonth

For most individuals, weekends offer a time to relax and recharge after the work week. ☀️ But if you're currently experiencing #burnout, weekends may not offer the same solace. In a recent SHRM survey, 44% of U.S. employees report feeling burned out and emotionally drained from work. This could look like: 🧑💻 Not being able to "mentally log off" 😓 Feeling too drained from the work week to spend time with loved ones 📆 The dreaded Sunday Scaries If this is something you relate to, make sure to check out our newest blog "Recognizing Burnout and What to Do About It" for tips on preventing and coping with burnout! https://lnkd.in/gBivVTnE
