Introducing Observability Lake, another addition to the Census Observability Toolkit 🎉 Observability Lake allows you to store a comprehensive history of your sync data in your own cloud storage environment, using services like Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, or Azure Blob Storage. This pairs perfectly with last week's announcement of Sync Tracking, which provides row-level visibility into every sync run for faster and easier troubleshooting. Together, these features transform your storage into a powerful data lake for even deeper and more flexible historical analysis. Resolving sync issues to maintain data integrity is crucial, but searching through logs to debug a sync can be time-consuming and frustrating 😓 ‎ Today, we're introducing Sync Tracking—a powerful new feature in the Census Observability Toolkit that provides row-level visibility into your syncs, making debugging and troubleshooting faster and easier. Sync Tracking gives you comprehensive visibility into each sync so you can: 1. Audit Your Syncs: Understand exactly what happened to each record at the row level 2. Identify and Resolve Failures Quickly: Diagnose issues with detailed error messages to reduce downtime 3. Search and Debug with Ease: Quickly locate specific records by searching with a primary identifier (such as an email or ID). Even better? Sync Tracking really shines when paired with the Census Observability Lake. You can store sync tracking data in your own cloud storage for extended retention and even deeper historical analysis. No more endless data digging. 🚧 ‎ Read more in the announcement:

I had a really fun chat this morning with Luke Ambrosetti and Nicholas Kaposhilin about a concept I've been working on around 5 levels of AI maturity for organizations – akin to the level of autonomy for self-driving vehicles. Despite wall-to-wall awareness of AI in the world, lots of companies are still trying to figure out how to master Level 1: employees using tools like Claude or ChatGPT to be more productive... So it's an extra special treat that my team Census just launched our first AI capability and one of the biggest additions to our platform since we created Reverse ETL in the first place: GPT Columns. Now anyone with a Census account, regardless of their SQL skills can augment, enrich, or clean their data without the help of a data engineering team. And Census takes care of all the gritty details like batching, refreshing, cost management, and more.

Product @ Census, the Universal Data Platform

Census is building the Universal Data Platform, and one of our most exciting areas of development is Transformations within Census. GPT Columns allow you to move at light speed-- classify, clean up, normalize, and more without spending days-weeks convincing stakeholders to add a column and then execute it.

    Data Activation 🦩

Big day for Census and OpenAI users! We're introducing GPT Columns to crush manual data tasks. Here's what you can do 👇🏼 GPT columns allow you to write a liquid template prompt to Open AI's LLM. The model will output a result as a new column in your dataset. Stay in control of the LLM by defining default values and validating results before your sync. Write these columns back to your warehouse to power activation or BI analysis. Free to use, bring your own ChatGPT keys 🔑

GPT columns are now free to try within Census!  🎉 Use LLMs to write new columns directly to your warehouse to clean, enrich and enhance data before you sync. The potential is limitless, but here are a few of our favorite ways to use GPT columns: ✅ No more writing regex to clean up records ✅ Scrape industry data from company websites to complete account records ✅ Easily compute fit scores and upsell readiness - without Salesforce Check out the blog post to lean more! https://lnkd.in/gGWTi9ZP
