Earlier this year our Gerber Life team in Fremont, Michigan participated in the TrueNorth Community Services Bowlapalooza fundraiser, benefiting the TrueNorth youth mentoring program. Not only did we have a blast, but we also contributed to a cause that builds a brighter future for our children. 🎳 Our team raised an incredible amount of $1,756 and placed at the top of the leaderboard. Gerber Life is a proud sponsor of Lifting Up Westchester (White Plains, NY), a non-profit organization that provides life-changing support to people who have lost their housing or are struggling to meet other basic needs. For Thanksgiving this year, our local team of Gerber Life employees donated over 160 food items to Lifting Up Westchester to support families during their time of need. On October 10th, Gerber Life Insurance Company and Merkle partnered to host the 1st Annual Gerber Life “Fairways Fore Families” charity golf outing - and it was a TREMENDOUS success! The event raised an incredible amount of just over $70,000, with all proceeds directly supporting March of Dimes, an organization near and dear to our hearts and the Gerber Life mission in caring for families. Gerber Life has been an avid supporter of March of Dimes for more than 15 years and will continue to enhance our support through this event in years to come! For many families, the beginning of the school year is a time of stress because of the added costs of school supplies. The Tools for School program provides brand-new backpacks full of school supplies to help Newaygo County children kick off the school year! This year, Gerber Life donated school supplies and helped set up for the event that aided TrueNorth Community Services in helping around 1,000 students.
